A Passionate Advocate for Floorball
During her university days, Ms. Wong’s love for sports, particularly floorball, flourished. Together with a couple of hockey friends, she co-founded the NUS Floorball Team in her first year, laying the foundation for what has become one of the university's most vibrant sports communities. Her passion for the sport led her to represent Singapore in several World Floorball Championships, where she competed at the highest level on the international stage. In recognition of her outstanding contributions to the promotion of floorball in NUS, including serving as Vice-Captain of the NUS Floorball Team, Ms. Wong was awarded the prestigious Gold Special Award by NUS. Her experiences as a national athlete have shaped her values of perseverance, teamwork, and excellence, which she now imparts to her students.
